One Sky Foundation
One Sky is a Thai foundation based in the Thai-Burma border town of Sangkhlaburi (Thailand), which works to protect and support vulnerable children and families. Large numbers of displaced families live along the Thai-Burma border, fleeing decades of fighting and instability in Burma, along with constant migration across the border as families seek better lives. The resulting chaos and poverty place large numbers of children at risk and feeds the cycle of poverty through each generation. A third of children in this region don’t finish primary education and very few are able to progress through High School. One Sky works to help children stay in school, remove children from dangerous situations and keep families together in the toughest of circumstances.
